We are taking a two week break! Our regular Story Time schedule will begin again on Monday, February 20th. Why is there a Story Time break? The break allows the presenters to prepare for the next session. It is always our goal to offer the best story time experience. This takes intentional planning. That means we carefully choose and review books and music, we practice our rhymes and we prepare crafts and handouts.
While we are on break we are offering a wonderful multi-cultural experience for the kids. Join us for the next two weeks for our International Story Time series. Guest volunteers will read stories in Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Tamil. Check our calendar for dates and time. And don’t forget the Library has books available for checkout in many different languages. Ask a librarian about our Youth and Adult International Language Collection.
And don’t stop reading to your little one! Mimic story time at home! Read, sing, talk, and play. Or, stop in, grab some books, and stay and play.
My e-book recommendation is All Kinds of Kisses by Nancy Tafuri. There are moooo kisses and baaaa kisses. We had fun with this cute book that teaches animal sounds.
See you in the Story Time Room!
